The microSpider2 Battery is a non-rechargeable lithium pack that powers a microSpider2 for up to 5 years. A second pack can be fitted to a microSpider2 Environmental for up to 10 years of service life. Figures assume 1-hour logging intervals, daily reports, good signal, a self-powered sensor and one alarm per month. Fully user-replaceable in the field.

Important Information
The second battery pack is supported on the microSpider2 Environmental only - the microSpider2 Lite cannot take a second pack. Battery life is a conservative estimate based on typical operating conditions. Actual performance varies depending on configuration and environment. The largest contributor to power use is the built-in mobile modem. Battery life is reduced by low cellular signal strength, frequent or large data reports, short logging intervals, and high transmission load.
