Remote Input Module
The Halytech Remote Input Module (RIM) expands Spider 2 AMR input capacity for utility meter monitoring. Ideal for residential, commercial and industrial metering where many pulse meters need to be monitored from a central Spider 2 AMR.

Expands pulse inputs for Spider 2 AMR via RS-485 bus
Connects up to 16 pulse meters with tamper detection (or 32 without) per RIM
Battery backup to protect data during power loss
Scalable - up to 320 wired inputs per Spider 2 AMR
Important Information
Uses RS-485 communications. Requires correct bus wiring and termination. Tamper detection requires compatible pulse sensors and wiring. Supports up to 320 wired inputs per Spider 2 AMR - plan addressing and wiring accordingly.
