microSpider2 Environmental
The microSpider2 Environmental is a compact, low-maintenance telemetry and data logging system, designed to withstand harsh conditions for long-term environmental monitoring. With broad sensor compatibility (SDI-12 & Modbus) and flexible data reporting, it enables reliable collection and transmission of critical environmental data.
Key Features
Broad Sensor Compatibility
Analogue and digital channels are native. SDI-12 and Modbus RS-485 come via the optional in-line Intelligent Interface, which plugs into I/O connector 1 - the 2 analogue and 2 digital inputs on that connector then become unavailable. This is the in-line part, not the DIN-rail module used by the microSpider2 Industrial, and the two are not interchangeable.

Small footprint with an IP68 enclosure for installation in tight or exposed locations.
Low Power & Long Battery Life
Runs on a replaceable 7.2V lithium pack. Up to five years on one battery pack, or up to ten years with a second pack fitted.
Customisable Data Reporting
Create CSV reports at custom intervals and send via HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, email, or DNP3 (optional software licence).
Smart Calculations
Use virtual channels to create derived measurements for tasks like barometric compensation or flow correction without external processing.
